6pm procession leaves school
7pm fireworks at the village hall
The theme this year is . . . oh, that's right, it's a closely guarded secret! Each year, the Chailey Bonfire Society tries to come up with a new, imaginative theme, that will appeal to the children, families, & people of the village of Chailey.
Over the last few years our themes have included celebrating the battle of Waterloo, the anniversary of St Peter's primary school, Harry Potter, and Elvis, celebrating the life of The King, twenty five years after his death.
Come join us this year, on Saturday evening, 8th November 2008, starting at 6pm with the torchlit procession from the Chailey School, Mill Lane, South Chailey, finishing at the village hall in Chailey (with a refreshment break at the Horn's Lodge), where the fireworks will be set off, at 7pm. Refreshments available.
